The Todd County Central Rebels dropped their second game in a row to open the 2019 baseball season Tuesday evening. The Rebels hit the road to take on Logan County in a 13th District battle and came away on the bad side of a 15-0 game.

The Cougars scored early and often, plating five runs in the first, five more in the second, and five more in the bottom of the third inning to end the game due to the 15 run rule. Of the 15 runs the Cougars scored, only seven were earned as the Rebels committed six errors in the three innings that were played.

Meanwhile, Logan County pitching kept the Todd County Central batting order in check. The Cougars limited the Rebels to singles from Austin Rager and Brice Nolan. The Cougars were not actually hitting the ball over the park themselves, as three Rebel pitchers limited Logan County to only six hits, but did give up nine walks in three innings. The combination of the fielding errors and the walks were too much for the Rebels to fight their way through.

With the loss, the Rebels drop to 0-2 on the season. In the two losses the Rebels have been outscored 27-0.
