Trigg County senior Austin Mitchell put pen to paper on Tuesday at the school, signing to continue his football career at Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY. The Panthers play at the NCAA D2 level and are coming off a 3-7 season, 2-6 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
Mitchell helped the Wildcats to a 5-6 record his senior year, making 36 tackles, 15 solo, with 11 for a loss. He recorded 3 sacks and had a fumble recovery. For his career, Mitchell had 64 tackles, 24 solo.
