After not playing during the first week of the season, the Todd County Central baseball team kicked off its season under cold and windy conditions Monday night in Elkton, falling 12-0 to visiting McLean County.
After the game, first-year coach Troy Winders pointed to errors, both mental and physical, as big reasons for the loss, and spoke about what he saw from his pitchers on opening night.
