Easton McGee picked up a no-decision for Bowling Green Tuesday in his first start for the Class A Hot Rods against Lake County.
He pitched into the fourth inning and allowed two earned runs on four hits. He struck out three and walked one. 31 of his 50 pitches thrown were strikes.
McGee left the game with the Hot Rods trailing 2-0 but got off the hook when Bowling Green scored twice in the fifth to tie their game with Lake County at 2-2. Lake County, an affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, won the game 13-4.
After two games, McGee’s ERA stands at 3.38.
The Hot Rods split their Tuesday doubleheader with Lake County and has a 3-3 record through six games.
