The Lyon County softball team claimed the 2nd Region All-A title with a 10-0 victory over Crittenden County on Thursday night, behind five shutout innings from pitcher Allye Culp. Culp scattered 3 hits over five innings, holding the Lady Rockets scoreless for the first time this season.
After the Lady Lyons collected their hardware, Culp pointed to her curveball as a big reason for her success in the circle, and says the Lady Lyons are ready for their trip to the All-A state tournament.
