Trigg County had one boat finish just outside of the top 10 at the Calloway County Laker Open on Lake Barkley Saturday. Jordan Hampton and Emily Huntsman caught two fish weighing 7-pounds, 10-ounces to finish 11th out of the 42 boats that presented fish at weigh-in.
Dylan Chambless and Avery Harper finished 25th with a five-pounder.
Calloway County’s Jacob Hudgin and Dylan Bell caught four bass weighing 20-pounds, 8-ounces to take first place. Marshall County’s Davis Smith and Garrett Hicks took second with 16-pounds, 4-ounces.
Andrew Douglas and Colton Cox of Calloway County had the big bass of the event at 6-pounds, 1-ounce.
Calloway County (39-pounds, 5-ounces) won the team title, with Marshall County (35 pounds) second and McCracken County (27-pounds, 9-ounces) third.
