A former Hopkinsville Tiger has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal ahead of a possible change of colleges for his basketball career. According to information in the portal, Murray State’s Jalen Johnson is among the athetes nationwide considering a transfer.
By entering his name into the portal, Johnson is now able to be contacted by other colleges and universities. The move does not require him to leave Murray State, but the school can reserve the right to pull his athletic scholarship.
Johnson saw action in 19 games for the Racers, who advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament, losing to Florida State. He averaged 0.7 points, 0.5 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game.
