In a battle of contenders in the 1st and 2nd Regions, Paducah Tilghman jumped out to a big lead early and went on to rout Hopkinsville 16-0.
The Blue Tornado (11-6) hit Hopkinsville with 12 runs in the bottom of the first inning to take control of the contest right away. Tilghman sent 16 men to the plate in their first at-bat at Brooks Stadium in Paducah.

Riffe finished 3-for-3 at the plate with three runs batted in and four runs scored. Jackson Fristoe was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored for Tilghman, which banged out 15 base hits in the contest.
