The Caldwell County tennis teams had a happy Senior Day, claiming wins over Fort Campbell on Monday at the CCHS tennis courts in Princeton.
Caldwell’s girls swept seven matches to improve to 10-1 on the season.
In singles play:
Belle Englebright (CC) defeated Halee Brugge 6-0, 6-0;
Maddie Morgan (CC) defeated Chadndelr Burgoyne 8-0;
Chasie Phelps (CC) defeated Abby Aspinwall 8-0;
Shae Sharp (CC) defeatd Anjelle Lopez 8-1;
Kaylee McEnaney (CC) defeated Abigail Duncan 8-1.
In girls doubles:
Morgan/Phelps (CC) defeated Burgoyne/Brugge 6-0, 6-0;
Sharp/Josie Shaffer (CC) defeated Aspinwall/Duncan 8-1.
In the boys’ match, Caldwell defeated Fort Campbell 7-3. The Tigers are now 6-3 in team matches this season.
