Easton McGee was strong in his second start of the season for Bowling Green in earning a no-decision in the Hot Rods’ 3-1 win over Fort Wayne Monday.
McGee went five innings, allowing just three hits and no runs. He walked three and struck out one in lowering his season ERA to 2.76. McGee picked up a win in relief on Friday to move to 2-0 on the season.
Bowling Green scored three runs in the ninth inning for the 3-1 win. The Hot Rods are 10-8 on the season and 1.5 games behind first place Lake County in the Midwest League Eastern Division.
For the season, McGee has struck out 15 batters in 16.1 innings. He has allowed 13 hits and five earned runs.
