No. 4-ranked Louisville Holy Cross knocked off Lyon County 8-1 in pool play at the All A Classic state tournament in Owensboro on Saturday, ending the Lady Lyons’ stay in the event.
After opening the state tourney with a win over Hickman County, Lyon’s girls dropped tilts to Washington County and Holy Cross and failed to qualify for Sunday’s championship round.
