Lyon County got off to a successful start in pool play at the state All A Classic softball tournament in Owensboro, using a three-run fifth inning to rally past Hickman County 3-2.
The Lady Lyons likely need one more win to advance to Sunday’s single-elimination championship bracket. They will face Washington County at 12:30 and Louisville Holy Cross at 4 p.m.
