Three Hopkinsville pitchers combined to throw a one-hitter to lead the Tigers to a 20-1 win over Fort Campbell in Eighth District play Saturday on post.
Hoptown wasted no time putting the game away with four runs in the first inning and seven more in the second inning.
Ryan Myers continued to set the table at the top of the Hoptown lineup with three hits and two runs scored. Caleb Bapp added two hits and drove in four runs to lead the middle of the lineup.
Landon Snyder chipped in with two hits, and Brian Wolf doubled.
Matthew Middleton had the lone hit for the Falcons, who have dropped eight of their last nine games.
Jacob Dilday picked up the win for Hoptown, striking out four and allowing a hit. Layne Jorgensen and Logan Durst combined to strike out six in three innings of hitless relief.
Hopkinsville (13-6) have allowed just four runs during a current three-game winning streak. They are scheduled to host Lyon County Monday. The Lyons played Beechwood in the All-A Classic State Tournament Sunday.
Fort Campbell (2-10) hosts Dawson Springs Tuesday.
