Madisen Ireland knew she wanted to be a nurse almost as long as she wanted to play soccer in college. Now, she gets to do both as the Trigg County senior signed with Union College Friday.
Ireland finished her Trigg County career with 62 goals, which ranks in the top five all-time for the program. She scored 37 goals in 2017 in helping lead the Lady Wildcats to a district title and appearance in the region tournament semifinals. The all-district performer also finished with 10 assists.
Ireland was named All-District and All-Region during her time at Trigg County.
Union College competes at the NAIA level and finished with a record of 4-11-1 last year.
