Ward Claims Top-Five Finish for Lady Colonels at Area 1 Championships

Christian County’s Cierra Ward finished fifth in the triple jump to lead the Lady Colonel tracksters at the Area 1 Championships at McCracken County Friday.

GIRLS

Cierra Ward – 5^th in the triple jump (33-11.5); 11^th in the long jump (15-01.5)

Autumn Bell – 8^th in the triple jump (32-09.5); 14^th in the long jump (14-07.5)

Arianna Cushenberry – 13^th in the shot put (25-5)

Amelia Riddick – 20^th in the shot put (22-05.5)

BOYS

Jaiden Northington – 10^th in the 100-meter dash (11.66)

Perry Cunningham – 22^nd in the 800-meter run (2:37.2)

Hasai Powell – 24^th in the discus throw (82-09)
