It would be tough to find anyone who had a better Saturday than UHA’s Evelyn Morales, as the sophomore took the top spot in both the high jump and the 300M hurdles at the Region 1 Class A track & field meet at Murray High, while also anchoring two relay victories to push the Blazer girls to a 2nd-place overall finish.
Morales set a personal record on the way to a region title in the high jump with a 5-02.00 and posted a dominant 49.47 in the 300M hurdles. She also closed the show for the Blazers in the 4x200M and the 4x400M to cap a perfect four-for-four day.
Watch as Morales puts the finishing touches on three of her victories in this Max’s Moment.
