The Christian County baseball team built a 9-1 lead after the fourth inning of Tuesday night’s 8th-District title game versus Hopkinsville, before the Tigers stormed back with six runs in the sixth to trim the margin to two. However, the Colonels added a couple of runs in the bottom of the inning and Wyatt Stevenson retired the Tigers in order in the top of the seventh to secure Christian County’s fifth-straight championship.
