Lyon County beefed up their 2019 baseball schedule, and it paid off with a district title. The Lyons are 8-3 against the region tournament field including a split with first round opponent Henderson County. Lyon County Coach Ricky Baker says it’s a plus for his team to have already seen the Colonels twice during the regular season. Henderson beat the Lyons 11-2 on March 29, with the Lyons winning the May 10 rematch 9-5.
