Christian County opens play Monday in the Second Region Tournament against Crittenden County, looking to become the first Colonel squad to repeat as region champs since they won three straight from 2004-06. Coach Trey Wheeler says if his team can play solid defense over three days, he likes their chances of advancing to next week’s state sectional round in Bowling Green.
