Heritage Christian Academy saw their softball season come to an end Tuesday with a 14-2 loss to Highlands Latin in Louisville.
Heritage entered the state tournament as the No. 5 seed and had split their previous two games with the four-seeded Highlanders. Highlands Latin now advances to Friday’s semifinal at Heritage Christian where they will play top seed and defending state champion North Hardin Christian. Cornerstone Christian will play Somerset in the other semifinal Friday. The championship is set for Saturday at 5pm.
The Lady Warriors lose just one senior from this year’s team that was coached by Jenna Gray.
