Hopkinsville’s Skylar Ray and Sophie Maddux ran into a tough matchup at the Top Seed Tennis Club/KHSAA State Tennis tournament Thursday morning. The pair lost their match to an entry from Ashland Blazer in the opening round. Afterwards, they talked about the year and looking forward for the younger half of the team, Sophie Maddux.
