The Madisonville-North Hopkins softball team returned to the top of the 2nd Region on Friday night with a 3-0 win over a young Lyon County team making its first appearance in the title game in program history. Courtney Patterson scattered four hits to earn the win in the circle and Mykayla Spurlin provided the power with a solo home run in the fourth inning.
