Making its first appearance in the KCAA state-title game since 2014, the Heritage Christian Academy baseball team couldn’t generate much offense in a 13-3 loss to Highlands Latin on Saturday in Hopkinsville. The setback is the Warriors’ second of the season at the hands of the Highlanders, the only two games they dropped to KCAA competition.
Afterward, Coach Darrell Crawford pointed to defensive execution as a big reason for the loss, but remains proud of his team both on and off the field.
