Cathryn Brown parred three of the last five holes to win the 13-15 division of the Kentucky Junior PGA stop in Paducah Wednesday.
The Lyon County freshman edged Paducah’s Ellie Roof by one shot on the Rolling Hills Country Club Course at Paducah. Brown shot a 10-over 82.
Brown leads the statewide point standings in the age division with 185 points. A player receives points for high finishes at Kentucky Junior PGA events. Jacy Stricker of Sellersburg, Indiana is second with 177.5 points.
