Three of Trigg County’s girls’ relay teams were recognized on the All-Area Track and Field Team by the coaches association Saturday.
The region champion 1600-meter relay team earned first-team honors, which covers all three classes, while the 800-meter and 3200-meter relay team earned second-team honors.
The criteria used for All-Area honors include their finish at the region meet, the state meet, and the Area 1 championships.
