Jiles Wyatt put together a consistent round of golf Thursday at Paxton Park Golf Course to finish third in the 15-16 division of the Kentucky Junior PGA event in Paducah.
The University Heights Academy junior parred the final five holes to shoot a 39 on the back-nine and finish with an 8-over 80. He was four shots behind the winner, Garrett Rikel of Paducah who shot a 5-over 76.
Hopkinsville junior James Folz was one shot behind Wyatt with a round of 9-over 80. His round included a birdie on the front-nine where he shot a 3-over 38.
Hopkinsville sophomore Evan Pyle shot an 87 to finish in eighth place in the age division. His round included a pair of birdies on the back-nine.
In the 9-hole 11-12 age group, Stephen Crick of Princeton won the division at 5-over-par 40.
Jacob McDaniels of Princeton finished fourth in the 9-hole 10-and-under division. He shot a score of 49.
