
Easton McGee had another strong outing Sunday for the Bowling Green Hot Rods, who picked up a 3-2 walk-off win over West Michigan at Bowling Green Ballpark.
McGee went seven innings for second straight start. He allowed just five hits, struck out five, walked none, and allowed just one earned run in lowering in season ERA to 3.42. He got a no-decision.
Since the All-Star Break, McGee is 2-0 in three outings with a 1.80 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 20 innings. For the season, McGee is 6-2 with 60 strikeouts and just 18 walks.
Bowling Green in 13-4 in the second half of the Midwest League season with a three-game lead. The Hot Rods need to win the division in the second half to assure themselves a spot in playoffs.
