Madisonville’s Kaitlyn Zieba bested 16 other golfers to win the 13-15 division Monday of the Kentucky Junior PGA Stop at the Bowling Green Country Club.
Zieba shot a 7-over 79 to edge Union’s Clare Hooper by one shot.
Lyon County freshman Cathryn Brown finished tied for sixth place with a 15-over 87. She didn’t have any birdies on the day but did record seven pars.
Caldwell County freshman Claire Knoth shot a 104 to finish in 13th place.
