Emma Talley is tied for 20th after two rounds of the LPGA’s Marathon Classic presented by Dana in Sylvania, Ohio.
The former Caldwell County High School and University of Alabama star fired a 3-under-par 68 in Friday’s second round at Highland Meadows Golf Club.
Talley had three birdies and did not record a single bogey to move up into the Top 20 on the leaderboard heading into action this weekend.
Talley shot a 1-under 70 in the opening round on Thursday, carding four birdies but three bogeys in that round.
Sei Young Kim leads the Marathon Classic after 36 holes at 11-under. Jeongeun Lee6 is 10-under with three other players tied at 9-under-par.
Talley, who is at 4-under for the tournament, will tee off at 10:25 a.m. Central time Saturday in the third round of the 72-hole event.
