University Heights Academy came out of the KHSAA Dead Period with a trip to Centre College where they were able to show off their team skills.
Scribby Goode and Tanner Thomas each received the Coach’s Choice Award, and Will Bryan, the team’s leading returning scorer from 2018, received the Centre Future Award, given to 14 campers.
UHA returns seven starters from last year’s squad that went 12-6-1 and advanced to the region tournament. Former Blazer player Frankie Thomas begins his first season as head coach of the Blazers, who open their season Aug. 15 at Ohio County.
