The University Heights Academy Lady Blazers got a good jump start to the 2019 soccer season by winning a pair of divisions at the Hilltopper Soccer Academy Camp at Western Kentucky University over the weekend.
UHA won the 7-on-7 team division and took first place in the Gold Cup Division.
The Lady Blazers graduated five seniors from last year’s 13-7 team that won the district title and advanced to the region championship. UHA had 13 players attend the team camp.
UHA opens the regular season Aug. 12 at home against Calloway County.
