Caldwell County assistant coach Will Barnes says the Tigers have shown improvement through their three 7-on-7 dates the last two weeks.
Caldwell now sets its sights on its first scrimmage, at Madisonville-North Hopkins on Aug. 9, and its regular-season opener, at home on Aug. 23 against Christian County.
Your Sports Edge spoke with Barnes following Monday’s 7-on-7 action at Marshall County, where the Tigers went against the Marshals and Mayfield in a three-team event.
