Lyon County Post 68 got a one-hit pitching performance from Brady Betts on Thursday as it blanked Owensboro Post 9 10-0 in five innings at the American Legion State Tournament in Eddyville.
Post 68 coach Greg Vincent says the Post 68 Aces have their pitching lined up for the rest of the tourney as Lyon County looks to repeat as Kentucky state champion.
The Lyon County team will play again Friday at 5:30 p.m. in the winner’s bracket final at Lee S. Jones Park.
