Hoptown Uses Strong Second Half to Down Tilghman

Ana Hernandez scored a hat trick as Hopkinsville broke a halftime tie to beat Paducah Tilghman 6-3 Thursday in Paducah.

Hoptown and Tilghman were tied 3-3 at the break before the Lady Tigers scored three unanswered goals in the second half.

Laney Wilson and Morgan Woosley also added goals, while Keeli Miles had a goal and an assist. Grasen Givens assisted on a pair of goals as Hoptown bounced back from a 1-0 setback to South Warren on Tuesday.

Hoptown also won the JV game 3-0.

The Lady Tigers (1-1) will travel to Owensboro Saturday to play Apollo, who lost to Caldwell County Thursday 10-0.
