The UHA girls’ soccer team slipped to 0-2 on the season, coming up just short in a 2-1 loss at McCracken County on Thursday night. The Lady Blazers last began a season with two losses all the way back in 2004.
The Lady Blazers’ Grace Pape chalked up her second goal of the season, but it wouldn’t be enough in a match-up with one of the largest schools in the state.
Up next for UHA is an 8th-District meeting with Hopkinsville at the Stadium of Champions. The Lady Blazers took the only meeting with the Lady Tigers 4-1 last season.
