Rose Smith continued her torrid start to the girls’ soccer season with four more goals as Lyon County hammered Union County 7-1 Monday in Morganfield.
The Lady Lyon sophomore now has 13 goals in her first four games of the season.
Sydney Hoffman joined in the scoring fun with a pair of goals, and Destiny Dycus added a goal for the Lady Lyons who improved 3-1 on the season.
Abby Smith had 10 saves in goal for the Lady Lyons. Bailey Guess added an assist.
Union County dropped to 1-1 on the year with their fourth loss in five games dating back to last year.
Alice Smith scored four goals as the Lady Lyons won the JV game 7-0.
Lyon County will host Trigg County Tuesday as they look to move to 2-0 in district play.
