Trigg Drops Season Opener at Webster County

8-20-garnett

Trigg County could never sustain their rallies in dropping a straight set match at Webster County (25-16, 25-10, 25-14) Tuesday in Dixon.

The Lady Wildcats are working to replace four starters from last year’s team and started the only two seniors on their roster.

Trigg County has dropped five straight matches to Webster County, dating back to 2014. The loss was also their fourth straight in season openers.

The Lady Wildcats will play at Murray Thursday. Trigg split their two matches with Murray last year, winning a five-set match at Wildcat Gym. Murray opened their season Tuesday with a four-set loss to Crittenden County.
