Every football player in the West Kentucky Conference will wear a decal this season in memory of Caldwell County head coach David Barnes.
Trigg County head coach Coby Lewis announced that on his Twitter account.
“Can’t express how much Coach Barnes meant to me, and high school football in general,” Lewis wrote. “Every player in the WKC will be wearing a #BarnesStrong decal (1172 of them) on their helmets this season. We miss you coach!”
The Caldwell head coach died Saturday morning.
