The Fort Campbell girls’ soccer team snapped a 2-game skid and evened its record at 2-2 with a 2-0 shutout of hosts West Creek, TN on Thursday night. The shutout is the first for a Lady Falcon defense that has now yielded 9 goals so far this season.
Kaitlyn Cervantes scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season, with Regan Oakley adding her first of the year. Starting goalkeeper Angel Manalang missed the game through injury, but junior varsity keeper Lauren Anderson filled in to hold the Coyotes scoreless.
The Lady Falcons will be back on the field on Monday when they host the Crittenden County Lady Rockets (0-3).
