The Todd County Central boys’ soccer team was riding a two-game unbeaten run into Tuesday night’s 13th-District opener with Logan County, but after a 9-0 loss to the Cougars the Rebels slip to 1-3-1 overall. Logan County wins its second-straight to improve to 2-1, while running its win streak over the Rebels to thirteen games.
Ethan Haley led the way for the Cougars with 3 goals and an assist, followed by Dalton Taylor and Zachary Matthews with 2 goals each. Jaden Hayes and Lucas Taylor each scored once, while goalkeeper Parker Bray didn’t make a save on the way to the shutout win.
The Rebels will be on the road on Monday when they travel to Cadiz to face the Trigg County Wildcats.
