Lyon County brought home a second-place trophy from the Russellville Panther Classic after splitting a pair of games on Saturday.
The Lyons defeated Butler County 6-5 in a see-saw game that saw the Bears get two early goals before the Lyon offense started to gel.
Todd Huddleston had a hat trick for Lyon while Jeremiah Wilkerson scored a pair of goals. Nathan Hague got his first goal to round out the Lyon scoring.
Lyon keeper Cole Schroeder stopped 13 out of 18 shots on goal.
Butler is now 0-6-1.
Lyon then fell to the host school 6-1 on Saturday.
The Lyons (1-5-1) could only manage a goal by Huddleston in that contest, with Lucas Mayberry picking up an assist.
Russellville is now 4-4.
Lyon will return home to face Caldwell County Tuesday in a semifinal contest in the 2nd Region All A Classic.
