After falling behind 2-0 on Saturday to visiting Somerset Christian, Thomas West scored to pull Heritage Christian Academy back into the game before a late goal sealed the 3-1 loss to the eight-time defending state champion Cougars.
Despite the loss, West was encouraged by the Warriors’ performance and said cutting mistakes is key to continued improvement.
