Bryan Scores 4 Times as UHA Claims Regional All ‘A’ Classic Championship

Will Bryan found the net four times and University Heights Academy won its second-straight 2nd Region All ‘A’ Classic championship on Thursday night in Eddyville.

The Blazers (4-1) scored twice in the first 8 minutes to grab the upper hand and led 4-0 on the way to a 6-1 triumph over Lyon County in the regional final.

Connor Dill got help from Preston Thomas less than 6 minutes into the game to stake UHA to a quick 1-0 lead.

Bryan’s first goal came in the 8th minute. Dill assisted on that play as the Blazers went up 2-0 before much of the crowd at Lee S. Jones Park got comfortable in its seats.

Bryan struck again in the 20th minute with help from Tanner Thomas.

Bryan’s third-straight goal came in the 23rd minute. Ethan Hale picked up an assist on that tally to put UHA up 4-0.

Lyon (2-6-1) got on the scoreboard just before halftime when Todd Huddleston scored with help from Timothy Stewart. But the Lyons struggled to get many get looks at the net throughout the contest.

Meanwhile, UHA fired off 29 shots while controlling time of possession.

Bryan picked up his fourth goal midway through the second half, scoring unassisted to give the Blazers a 5-1 advantage.

University Heights netted its final goal in the 78th minute, with Dylan Edmonson scoring off an assist from Dill to push the final margin to 6-1.

UHA advances to sectional play in the All ‘A’ Classic against the 1st Region champion.
