Todd County Central picked up their second five-set win of the volleyball season with the latest coming on the road Thursday at McLean County.
The Lady Rebels dropped the first set 25-13 but rallied to win the next two 25-17 and 25-12. McLean sent the match to a tiebreaker after winning the fourth set 25-23, but Todd County won the fifth set 15-12.
It’s the third time this season Todd County has played a five-set match, and they’ve won two of the three.
Todd County Central snapped a four-match losing streak to McLean County (2-7) and beat the Lady Cougars for the first time since 2011.
The Lady Rebels (4-7) have already matched their win total from last year and will look to add to it this weekend at the wRECk at the Plex in Hopkinsville.
