Every time the Christian County football team seemed poised to build some momentum in Friday night’s 26-14 loss to Henderson County, a mistake or penalty stopped the Colonels in their tracks. As a result, they now sit at 0-3 with the daunting task of a visit from the 3-0 Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons looming.
After the frustrating loss for the Colonels, Coach Steve Lovelace praised his team’s effort, but pointed to practice habits and mistakes for the difficult start.
