A rough trip to Dixon Tuesday evening for the Lyon County Lyons. It was Senior Nite for the Webster County Trojans boys soccer team, and the Trojans played like they wanted one to remember for a while.
The Trojans held the Lyons scoreless on the evening, while finding the goal frequently on their way to the 10-0 win. Joel McCormick, Maddox Catlin, and Santos Portillo, each scored two goals for Webster County.
Lyon County goalie Cole Schroeder was under fire most of the match. In addition to the ten goals, Schroeder still came up with another 28 saves on the evening.
The loss drops Lyon County to 2-8-1 on the season. The Lyons return to action Thursday when they host Caldwell County, who the Lyons beat 2-1 earlier in the season.
The Trojans improve to 2-4-1 with the win.
