Fort Campbell snapped a brief two-game skid as the Lady Falcon defense again got the job done in a 2-1 win over Crittenden County in Marion Thursday.
The Lady Falcons jumped out to a 2-0 first half lead on Kaitlyn Cervantes’ 11th goal of the season and Aria DeSilva’s ninth goal. The duo have combined to score 20 of Fort Campbell’s 23 goals this season.
Crittenden got a goal back in the second half, but the Fort Campbell defense allowed nothing else as they held their opponent to two goals or less for the ninth time in 11 games.
Fort Campbell (7-4) will travel to University Heights Saturday for a 5:30 contest.
