Christian County found the opportunities tough to come by as Paducah Tilghman shut out the Colonels 2-0 Thursday in Paducah. It was the tenth time in 15 matches that the Tornado defense held their opponent to two goals or less and was their third shutout of the season.
Brennan Larimer, and Ivan Aburto had the goals for Tilghman, who improved to 7-6-2 with the win.
It was also another solid effort for the Colonel defense, who held their opponent to two goals or less for the eighth time in 13 matches this season. Christian County is now 1-11-1.
The Colonels will host the Colonel Showcase Saturday at the Stadium of Champions. They will play Hopkins County Central at 11:30 and Fort Campbell at 3:15.
