Trigg County’s bid to win consecutive volleyball matches for the first time this year came up short with a straight set loss to Calloway County Thursday. The Lady Lakers won 25-18, 25-12.
Iyanna Grubbs and Hannah Fletcher each had three kills for the Lady Wildcats, who have now dropped three straight matches to Calloway County (11-5).
Trigg County (1-18) returns to action Monday when they host Hopkins County Central at Wildcat Gym.
