After earning a 2-2 draw with Williamstown in its opener on Saturday, the Christian County boys’ soccer team failed to find the back of the net in a 10-0 setback against Frederick Douglass as part of the Bruin Classic at the Elizabethtown Sportspark.
Kurtis Torian opened the scoring for the Colonels against Williamstown, before Yeffrey Macario knotched his sixth goal of the season to earn the draw.
The nightcap didn’t go as well, with the Colonels suffering their second mercy rule loss in three matches at the hands of Frederick Douglass. The 11-4-2 Broncos haven’t lost in five tries, while Christian County slips to 3-13-1.
The Colonels will be back on the road on Monday, travelling to Paducah to face the 6-7-1 St. Mary Vikings.
